About
Hi! I’m Sarah.
And I’m the maker behind Foggy Moth Metalworks.
For as long as I can remember, I have collected little stones, shells, sticks, and flowers. I would sporadically try to make things with them. I wanted to be able to carry their beauty with me.
Then, a couple of years ago, I decided to dive headfirst into the works of metalwork, and I’ve never looked back. I am a completely self-taught metalsmith, so I am learning and expanding my toolkit of techniques every day.
All of my work is curated, designed, and handmade by me. There is just something special about being able to make all the pieces I have dreamed up and have been searching high and low for.
I hope you can find a piece that speaks to you, and that you will love to wear it as much as I’ve loved making it.
Where does Foggy Moth Metalworks jewelry come from?
All of these pieces are designed and handmade by me.
I source my stones from many places. At the moment, I have a stone cutter overseas that I work with to expand my collection, and I have a handful of lapidary artists here in the states that I work with as much as I can:
All of the metals start as sheet and wire, and I source and use recycled materials as much as possible:
Please reach out if you have any more questions. I love talking about this work and take great pride in what I create and share with you.
